There are moments in life when you ask yourself big questions.
Profound questions.
Important questions.
Like, for example:
“What if I tried to be a normal person?”
It all started before a parents’ meeting.
You know… conversations about soccer, politics, the weather, and those mysterious social skills that some people seem to come with.
Meanwhile, I was still thinking about miniatures, paintbrushes, color schemes, and lab projects.
So I decided to do what any eccentric scientist would do in my situation:
create a machine capable of eliminating geekiness.
And that’s how born … the NORMALIZER3000.
The theory was simple:
Enter the machine, emerge as a fully functional person capable of holding normal conversations without mentioning goblins, twelve-sided dice, or dry-brush techniques.
But as is often the case in Doctor Frikistein’s laboratory… things didn’t go exactly as planned.
The experiment failed.
Or perhaps… it worked too well.
Because although Doctor Frikistein emerged seemingly unscathed, something strange happened seconds later.
The machine began to overload.
The lights flickered.
The gauges exploded.
And from within emerged a new entity:
MR. PAINT 🎨
The most obsessive, creative, and geeky side of the lab had taken on a life of its own.
A personality born from years of painting miniatures, organizing paints, imagining impossible projects, and accumulating ideas related to the hobby.
And honestly… I think there’s no going back now.

With the arrival of Mr. Paint, it’s also time to open a new section within Doctor Frikistein: The Showcase
For years I’ve painted miniatures from different universes, styles, and games.
Some recent.
Others forgotten on the shelves of my lab.
And now it’s time to start sharing them.
Not just the final result, but also:
- color schemes
- creative processes
- inspiration
- hobby ideas
- organization
- accessories
- and everything that makes this world so special.
Because in the end, the hobby isn’t just about playing.
It’s also about creating.
Something new is taking shape…
And speaking of creating…
The lab may have been working lately on a new project related to the world of miniature painting 👀
An invention designed for those who want to take the hobby beyond their home table.
It’s still too early to reveal too much… but let’s just say Mr. Paint is quite involved.
And this… is just the beginning.
