1️⃣ Introduction
“Hello, Frikistein!” 👋
Today I’m bringing you a game that will test our coordination and logical thinking: MISSION ACCOMPLISHED (CAHOOTS) . A cooperative game where we must work together to complete objectives before we run out of cards.
And to make it even more interesting… there are different difficulty levels and variants that give it infinite replayability! 🤯💡
I’m going to show you how to play, what’s inside, and at the end, I’ll give you my honest opinion on whether it really is a Mission Accomplished… or a Mission Impossible. 🎬🎲
But first… where do we keep this awesome game? In our Doctor Frikistein ® board game bag , of course. 🔬🎒 Let’s check it out!
2️⃣ Display
We unfold MISSION ACCOMPLISHED on the game table using one of our game mats. The box is compact and its design is elegant. 📦✨
The game cards have a visual appearance somewhat reminiscent of ONE, but with a more refined and practical design. They incorporate icons to differentiate the colors, making them easier to access for colorblind players.
🔍 Key point: The mission cards include not only the objective text, but also visual icons that help understand it at a glance. 📜✅
In short, a design that balances aesthetics and functionality. Positive point! 🔥
3️⃣ Gameplay
Now I’ll explain how to play:
✅ 4 cards are dealt to each player.
✅ In the center of the table, there are 4 visible cards that we will play on.
✅ Whenever we place a card on top of another, it must match in number or color (yes, it sounds familiar, but the magic here is in the objectives).
✅ Each mission tells us a requirement we must fulfill before the cards run out.
💡 The interesting thing is that we can adapt the challenge to our experience:
🏆 Normal Mode: Play by completing the missions before the deck runs out.
🚀 “Full Speed” Mode: We play as fast as possible.
🔇 “No Words” Mode: Only gestures to coordinate moves.
🎲 Solo Mode: For lovers of solo challenges.
🧒 “Kids” Mode (with cards face up): This was the one I used in the game with my youngest daughter, and it turned out to be perfect for helping her understand the mechanics and receive support in her decision-making. 👧💡
With these variations, the experience adapts to any group of players. Always a fresh challenge! 🔥🎲
4️⃣ Opinion
After several games, MISSION ACCOMPLISHED has accomplished… its mission. 🎯
It’s a game with simple rules, but very stimulating, especially when the difficulty increases. I highlight it not only because of its cooperative component, which makes it ideal for family play, but also because, from my more scientific point of view 🧪, it stimulates mental calculations and strategic decision-making.
This focus on mathematical operations and problem-solving is undoubtedly BRAIN PICNIC’s signature. 🧠✨
And most importantly:
📌 Is it fun? A lot!
📌 Does it create good family time? Absolutely!
📌 Does it make us work together and think quickly? Also!
So… MISSION ACCOMPLISHED. ✔️🎲😏
